Unless you're lucky any bullet you get will probably have to be sized with a die to your groove depth, ideally .001 oversize. Moose makes a heeled .540 mould for the Gallagher which will probably cast a few thousands over, depending on the lead alloy. It's had mixed reviews, and right now Moose's operation is in flux. I would look at Accurate Moulds 53-375S mould which casts a heeled, short bullet. They will tweek the dimensions to suit your barrel and cases. They do excellent work IMHO.

    Rapine

Rapine made a 54 300 grain heeled bullet . Very accurate and fast loading. Any longer/larger heads push in to the rifling a bit more work. You should see if any one can give a few to play with. I use 30gn 3f and push them in. The brass cases may have to be adjusted a bit so they stay in the barrel and not the breech. Really fun to shoot. Will never be a Smith though..

    Galliger carbine.

I just got a conformation from S&S FIREARMS that they have them back in stock. they sell a bag of 25, $21 & change. enough for me to have fun shooting it. as states I have already bought cases from them also. toot.
