    WTB: Greene carbine

Hello. If anyone has a Greene Carbine and contemplating selling it, I'd like to see photos and your asking price. I picked up two great condition locks a few years back with the UK stamps on them, and think the Greene is one of the most unique type carbines from that era. Would actually prefer one in need of restoration, as my enjoyment has been in the disassembly, parts repair/recondition and overall improved understanding of the design and workmanship. Thanks, Eric.

Bruce, I fully understand the rarity of the US model and the commanding price. Makes me think I better go back at my 30+ Greenes I've downloaded the past couple years and compare US vs. UK. Could be just stampings on parts. If there's a US model one out there in need of restoration, I'd be all in for it. Jim sent me photos of his mint condition Greene, and would have to keep saving another 2-3 months to afford it (museum quality need to add).

Do you have a UK model? Please advise. Thanks, Eric.

Guess that's a lesson learned that before posting I should have the dough I knew would be needed to make the deal. Was a beauty.
