    smith carbine rounds

Today I loaded some rounds with a kitchen wax paper disc I made with a simple paper punch. I drop the paper disc into the plastic cartridge tube first to seal the hole then pour in the powder, grits (for filler), and then the slug). Tried some out in the back yard, ( yes I live In the country, twenty minutes from National headquarters), They work fine and don't dribble powder out the end. I figure trhe wax paper will also give some protection from moisture.

Have you tried wiping a thin dab of melted lube over the opening? I tried this method last weekend and it worked well.
