    Problem with transaction

Anyone have advice for dealing with a seller who will not ship an item that he received payment for? Only thing I can think of is a complaint to the state AG office for Consumer Protection.
    tnx

If a business then state AG, also consider the police. In addition of mailed then us postal inspector?

He stopped responding to my texts, so I will wait a few days for him to contact me-as he is active on this site. If not, then I guess I?ll pursue legal options and contact the state AG office. Also will post his name here so others can be aware. Hopefully, he will just ship the small item & all will be over. Tnx

Is he a guest here or NSSA member?

    How was payment sent?

    What was the amount?

Have been in this same pickle before. No one will care. Local police, mail, fed or state.
    Just one of those things.
Try to stop payment for the item first. If he is a member we may be able to take it up the chain of command.

I'd advise patience here. Post on here the transaction and vendor. People drop out of the net for lots of reasons. I rarely check for personal messages on this site. And since the average age of an N-SSA member is now 107, memory gets to be a problem.

    Problem-with-transaction

For what it is worth I usually pay with a US Postal Money Order. The reason for this if you get pulled up short, I check
to see if the money order was cashed. If it was I email where I bought the item and explain that I paid with a US Postal Money Order & have not received the merchandise. I also point out that beings I paid with a US Postal Money Order if I do not receive the merchandise I can go to the post office and fill out a form for mail fraud. I told that to someone I purchased from on Ebay and I was sent my merchandise. A couple of months latter Ebay wanted me to go in on a class action to get my money back - I told them I got my merchandise & didn't want to be part of the class action.

Did he say that the person was a N-SSA member? No

I don't see how age of members can play a part!
