    IAB Sharps Question

Curious what results have been when the IAB Sharps have been improved with a Larry Flees type breech block fix. I suspect they fire reliability but do they hold up otherwise?

    IAB Sharps Question

I shoot a hole Match 80 to 90 rounds and only brush the barrel between relays with no problems from breach leaks

I have two IABs with the Flees modification and target sights. Both are GTG and capable of one hole groups at 50yds. Be warned however that repro Sharps, like the originals, have barrels that can vary widely in size. Both my IABs take a .555 bullet. The barrels on IAB are good, parts can be hard to find but most repro and some originals can be made to work.

Yeah took the Spencer down to "On Target" modern range yesterday. Gave two of the staff turns on the gun and two guys off the line. Hadn't seen so much drool in years. Forgot the impression our guns make on poor deprived modern shooters. One of the staff mentioned he was thinking about getting a Sharps. I recommended that he also include money in his budget for psychotherapy if he goes that route.

    IAB feedback

Thanks to all for the feedback on the IAB Sharps. Looks like the IAB with the Flees/Hahn modifications is a viable alternative to the increasingly expensive Italian Sharps that also seem to need the modifications.
