    Uniform Material

Can someone please tell me who supplies material to make uniforms with? I want to make myself a new uniform but I'm not having any luck finding Confederate Gray Wool. Can anyone help me?
    Thanks

I have posted some good sources in the article at http://www.nwtskirmisher.com/useful-extra1.shtml

But in brief, the people who come to mind are, as Gil said, Charles Childs, Ben Tart, and Pat Kline who used to retial material under the name "Family Heirloom Weavers", but now wholesales only, and can be found through the Regimental Quartermaster, Scott Hanes at the Richmond Depot, and various other places.

By the way, Pat Kline is advertising the following show on his website that may be great for you guys nearer the east coast than I.

    "JULY

Thank you both for your information. It was very helpful. I am going to the Family Heirloom shop Saturday to look at what he has.

Crissy, Try Needle and Thread shop on Fairfield Road in Gettysburg. I will call you with the information. My inlaws got some grey cloth to make some uniform items for Mike and Linda. They have quite an assortment of material and colors to choose from.

    Thanks,
