    Smile Help - Quality Chevrons???

I'm looking for a set of HIGH quality rank chevrons.

Looking for the vendor, or brand, that uses nicer/heavier weight material in the stripes themselves, not the thin cotton twill commonly used...

Have perused Rgt QM, Fall Creek, and many others on line; but unfortunately, I can not find what I'm looking for.

ANY help is greatly appreciated - MANY thx in advance!!!

    Rob,
I just bought a pair of Sgt. chevrons from C&C Sutlery for $10.95. The stripes appear to be made of the same woven cotton tape that is used on early war US Shell jackets for their collar's stripes.

Rob, if and when this COVID stuff lifts, we need to get together and hoist a few to our beloved Corps.

I actually shot with the Blues back in the early '70s. Ole Schmidt & I put half of the shake shingles on the pavilion when it was being built.

    Gil,

Sounds great - in fact I'll "buy" the first round for you and any other Leatherneck &/or Doc who wants to come by & bend their elbow in good company!

Regarding your minor "slip in judgement", heck - once a Blue Rifle, ALWAYS a Blue Rifle!
