    Typical for Marines,

    Gloat YES gloat,

Forget that other branches that have served and have done as much in battle.
The Navy fired upon the beaches etc. for you to Land.
Air Corp strafed the beaches for you when you landed.
    WW 2.

Army served with the attitude " Were done here, whats the next job?"

The Army is thank full for the extra ammo they had because the
Marines were issued cameras for every other one to film each other!

Oh Yes, Iwo Jima had to do a second take, how many years to
identify all "Marines" in the flag raising?

Blow Smoke Buddy -- "We are all Veterans" and I have never
declared any branch above the other.

No worries Jim, and I completely understand your comments via your perspective... But as the old saying goes, ?If everyone could be a Marine, then we wouldn?t have a Marine Corps?.

Yes we gloat. We?ve MORE than earned the privilege to do so, with both gusto and regularity.

    Thanks for sharing

Depending on your size, here's a whole corporal's outfit might suit you Rob. It no longer fits the wearer.

    Lol - thx Eggman!

I appreciate your offer; unfortunately, I believe the subject jacket MAY be JUST a tad on the small side.

Besides, it wouldn?t sit right with me - depriving such squared away trooper of his smart looking tunic.

Is this how Cpl. Agarn started out?

The Agarn transition would depend on inter-TV- series migration. This particular outfit is a "Rusty B-Company" ensemble (actor Lee Akers) with an army colt .45 rig thrown in for us blood thirsty little troopers. These were Nabisco Shreaded Wheat premiums splayed off from "The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin" series, mid-Fifties. Of course Agarn (Larry Storch) was a lead character on "F Troop." There might be five or six N-SSA members too young to remember these shows.
    (That's grandson Danny)
    (Larry Storch is 98)
