    My momma had a '59 Impala convertible, cream with a black top. Drive train was the 283 V8, coupled to a PowerGlide transmission. She traded for a '65 Impala hardtop, that had a straight six and a three-on-the-tree. I learned to drive in this car.

    Then got the '62 Pontiac Tempest Leman just like this - had that 389 V-8 cut in half, bucket seats, floor stick.. Had to fight off the girls.
