WTB: 1853 Enfield Type II stock and barrel

    Hello all.

Looking to build one of these. This is the kind that has solid bands and band springs. Would be interested in getting sources for a stock and target quality barrel. Also would be interested in a junker someone might have for possible shooting restoration. Have stuff to trade if interested.

    Thanks for your help!

Thanks but those are rougher than I would want to deal with. Also, prefer english made. Thanks again

Wouldn't a Parker Hale 1853 pretty much fit the bill all around? I understand they are match-grade rifle-muskets right out of the box.

Otherwise, I would suppose The Rifle Shoppe could be a good option for the components. http://therifleshoppe.com/catalog_pa...glish_arms.htm

    Enfield

Still looking for an enfield for target shooter. Would consider Parker Hale, Pedersoii, or if someone has a custom one (repro or original with target barrel) I would be most interested. Thanks!
