    1848 Aston Pistol

So, I went to a gun show and one followed me home. I love shooting handguns, so I figured this was a good next step. Any advise out there? I have dug through most of posts on here about single shot pistols, but I figured I would look for some fresh comments. Hopefully, we will be able to skirmish this coming year.

Did happen to snag that at the Gettysburg show today? I remember looking at one today.

Yes, it did. The dealer had two. If I had the money, I would have bought them both. There was also a very nice Burnside there that I had considered also. But, with Christmas around the corner, I had to let it go.

The bore is not too bad for a 150+ year old pistol. PM coming.

An 1842 followed me home yesterday. Made in 1853 by I.N.Johnson.

Awesome. Had I had the money, the other Aston he had would have followed me home also.
