45/70 trap door in new jersey

hi, does anyone know if i can own an original 45/70 trapdoor springfield in New Jersey?? thanks!!!!

Yes. I own 3 here in NJ. The problem is finding a place to shoot it. The state ranges don't allow centerfire rifles, black powder or not. So, if you don't belong to a private club or have access to a big, safe piece of property, you're out of luck. What part of NJ are you from?

if you have a nj firearms id card and dont mind traveling to staten island why dont you look at joining colonial rifle pistol range on staten island the rifle range goes out to 192 yds. hopes this helps

Cheap for what it offers. Bit of a ride from Newark, but you'll enjoy yourself galore.
