John Zimmerman Fayetteville Type 3 with original lock & internals

Custom Zimmerman Fayetteville Type 3 with original lockplate and internals! It does have a reproduction hammer
The stock, barrel, and accompanying hardware are reproductions. The bore is rough from not being cleaned on the rear 8''-10". The rest of it is bright. It may clean up a little more from shooting or could be a reline or sleeve candidate. Currently, the bore is .577. It is missing the leaf on the rear site as well. The wood edges are crisp with minimal handling marks. The Fayetteville and 1863 date is readable. There are remnants of the "CSA" and Eagle as well

This would be a great restoration with minimal work or a fantastic living history rifle musket!
John's custom guns are a piece of art and can months for any project, especially one that involves original parts.

Not at the moment. I got the spec sheets from John Holland and will do the comparisons this weekend.

    Lowered to $1600.
Here is a link to measurements compared to the N-SSA spec sheets that used Paul Davies' book.
