This in no way denigrates Bob's lube, but Mr. Epps do you really need lube for the next twenty-five years as this formula will provide? Unless you shoot hundreds of rounds like Bob you may have way more than you need. Another possible solution is right there in your cupboard. Have you noticed that every few months that tub of Crisco you never use up has to be thrown out? Well that Crisco, rancid or not, is great bullet lube. You just have to use it right away or it will harden up.
I made some of the lube and the Ivory soap flakes did not melt with the mix I had the temperature right at or above boiling. The flakes just floated around on top so I scraped them off and when it cooled it seemed to separate the wax from the soap. See pictures
What am I doings wrong help please Thanks

I have been using about 60 / 40 of Beeswax abd EVOO.
Works and holds up.

Mav Dutchman. Sized 430 w/spg. 24 gns. 3F Swiss. Many yrs ago I found the bullet on eBay. Bought 100 and tried them out. On the bench can hold x ring on our N-SSA 50 yd target with 10 rounds. For yrs I continued buying them since I didn?t shoot team event and didnt need that many of them. A couple of yrs ago found myself shooting a little local cowboy. Decided I would need more so I bought the mold from Dick Dastardly biglube. Molded up a bunch in pure lead. Out to the range to try them out. Not good. Group now was 4? on the bench. Back home called big lube. Asked what brinnel hardness were his bullets. He stated 9-10 brinnel. With a lead hardness tester got to 9-10 brinnel and made a batch. Back to the range. 10 res back in the x ring.
When in doubt, mumble, when in trouble, delegate.
Ok I shot it today with 30 gr 3f Swiss, MCM lube and the Moose bullet and it did great Shot 10 rounds and no crusty crap in the barrel then I shot 15 shots with out cleaning and still shooting good. Shot the MAV Duchman 210gr and the Moose bullet 240 gr. I think I will stick with the Moose bullet
