    69 cal sizing dies.

    Is anybody making 69 cal sizing dies?

    What size do you need? I have a .685 Rapine push through that I don't need.

    69 sizer

    I just made a Deal on a rifled 69 . Haven't picked it up yet so Dont know the size yet. I wasn't sure if anyone was making a die for the 69 cal. What are you asking for you 685?

    The sizing dies like this are available from S&S Firearms in Glendale, NY.
    I molded the epoxy end on the dowel rod to push through with.



    Tennessee Bullet Molds also makes jimdandy sizers that screw into a loading press.

    By the way, that's a 0.695" sizer. The Armisport bores can be pretty big. Mine is 0.696".
    That lubed minie is an adjusted Lyman #68569 with the bearing length and diameter increased for my Armisport 1847 elephant gun (I got the short version 33" shorty barrel).

    I use a Lyman #57730 revised to be a .69 smooth sided paper patched also.

    Tennessee Moulds is out of business. John at North East Trade Co. will make any size you want. he made the .686 I use now.

    Yes, George is out of business. I spoke to him around six months ago and he told me he was closed.
