    M1840 Pomroy Musket H&P Conversion

SOLD PENDING RECEIPT OF FUNDS! Decided to sell my H&P conversion of an m1840 Pomroy musket. Wood on this gun is excellent with faint oval inspector's cartouche. Metal is very good ++ no pitting. Breech is dated 1863, lock dated 1844, no New Jersey markings. Notice there is no clean out screw on the bolster and the rear sight is installed correctly, not backwards BUT this gun is rifled! I don't think the ramrod is correct but the rest of the gun is right. $1250.00 if you pick it up, you pay actual shipping if you want it delivered. If you would like more pictures email me at aafjack@yahoo.com and tell me what you want to see. I'll be glad to take pictures and send them to you.

You are correct, sir! For some reason I was thinking H&P only converted M1816 but they also did quite a number of M1840's as well.
