    .518 Lee Bullet Mold 360 grain

    For those of you casting with this mold, does it drop at .518 and what alloy are you using?
    My Pietta Smith Carbine slugged at .518/.506ish and wanting a mold that drops at least .519 or .520".

    It should drop a .518 if you are using pure lead. If you mix an alloy (mine is 3 parts pure to one part wheel weights) you should pick up a couple of thousandths. I cast the Lee .515 and size them at .517. They are a bit larger than that.
