    Merrill rear sight leaf screw

Happy New Year everyone. I have an original barrel/receiver/lever/sights and that's it. The rear sight is missing the 5 leaf, so I bought one from Dixie Gun Works and aged it. After soaking the sight in PB Blaster for two weeks the screw would not budge, and part of the head broke off. I can drill out the thread end of the screw. Does anyone know if any other firearm sight leaf screws would match. The sight is the second type, where the lever latch has a lip on which it rests on the sight rear. Screw head is rounded.

Tony Beck might be a contact, as I believe all the repro rear sights were made by him, and are for sale at places like lodgewood and S&s firearms. I'm having Bill McCarthy make me the plunger arm and plunger with copper face. Thanks, Eric.

I think I confused Tony Beck with Rich Cross as Merrill rear sights fabricator. Just realized my mistake. If anyone knows Tony or Rich's email addresses, or usernames on this site, please let me know. I'd like to find out if those two, or anyone else on this site, might be contact for Merrill original or repro parts, as well as Merrills to add to my neat website - https:\\jameshmerrilltribute.smugmug.com. Please be sure to go to the Updates page and check out/scroll down the first three pages or so. Thanks, Eric.
