1841 rifle aka Mississippi rifle forends for sale

We've cut several forends to restore original Mississippi rifles back to specs. They are good dry straight grained American Black Walnut. They are $60 with $10 shipping. Feed back on previous ones is that they fit very well and are easy to finish into a proper skirmish 1841 rifle. PM your wishes. John Bly 5109V

I used one of these to stretch the wood on a Miss. rifle. They are hard to beat. I stretched one before many years back. I don't remember who the maker was, but Johns was much higher quality.

Well when you make a 1.5 inch peice for a 1863/4 let me know.... Damn thing was cut down way to short.

Not work I have ever done but I would like to get this rifle in to action in 2020...

David, these pieces have an extra 3" or so on the bottom end that is necessary to hold them for carving. It generally gets cut off and thrown away by the end user. It may be long enough for your stock. I can send a picture if you would like. If it's not long enough we can make that part extra long on one for you. PM me if I can help.
