Just saw a Garrett Arms 1863 Sharps go for $695 in a completed auction.Seems like whoever won it got a good deal. I am going thru a learning curve on Sharps so did not participate.

Depending on the condition...if good that was a steal.
Fromm the heavy wear on the stock where the reenactor carbine sling carried it has a lot of miles on it. Most....not all(so hold the hate mail) reenactors don't take good care of their actions nor bores. At $695 for a Garrett that looked like it had been there was still a good deal as they go double that price without a problem in good condition. I've never seen a Garrett that didn't have a working primer.....did he make one??
