    Defarbing and SAC card

If I get a Repro musket Defarbed to include barrel import markings, does it require SAC approval? I was thinking of moving the markings to the underside of the barrel and wonder if it is worth the trouble.

    From the N-SSA Rules:

19.7.1 ARMS TO BE SUBMITTED FOR APPROVAL

    a. The following arms must be submitted to the Small Arms Committee for consideration of approval.

    6. Any arm that has the original manufacturer?s identification removed or in any way altered.

I strongly recommend that all new N-SSA competitors not only acquaint themselves with the N-SSA Rules, but also read and understand Section 19, which governs the arms used, sights and modifications allowed, etc.
