    I'll add my own advice: Check the various Civil War Facebook pages and reenactor BBs. They often will have bits of uniform available at very reasonable prices. (Hey, they read our BB for gun deals, it's fair to read theirs for uniforms and leather goods).

    When I was looking for a civilian styled sack coat a while back, I ordered one from Milkcreek Merchantile. They were good to deal with and the price was good. They are mainstream uniforms, but serviceable for what we do. As always Caveat Emptor.
