    Spencer bullets

What bullet are folks shooting in their repro center fire Spencers?

I have a Spencer coming soon (Thanks, Tom!). I have a Rapine 520354 mold on hand that I used to use in a Smith. It actually drops at about 385 grains. That seems a bit heavy for a Spencer.

    Any suggestions?

I got a 6 gang Lee mould that cast .515 from pure lead and about .517 from alloy, which gave great accuracy in my Armi Sport Spencer. Loaded it with 30 grs of Goex 3f, which worked great for our Black Powder Through the Ages matches here in Meeshigan.

Should have never sold that one. Thanks a pant load, Aaron.
