For sale is a 1970's Zoli Zouave marked Navy Arms on the lockplate. It was my backup skirmish gun and has been completely gone over and set up for team matches. The lock has been tuned and a new 1855 mainspring custom fit in it this Spring. The trigger pull is between 4 and 5 pounds and I found it completely satisfactory for match shooting. The barrel is about 3 years old and is a Dan Whitacre .577" bore. I use bullets sized .575" in it, primarily the Hodgdon. The stock is in excellent condition and a slight amount of bedding was done in the tang area. I really like this gun, but I have switched to a Fayetteville and will pick up another Fayetteville as my backup. This gun has received excellent care and will serve you well. It does not have ignition problems. I shot the same load in this and my former primary gun, an original 1863 Remington with a Whitacre reline which is also for sale. It comes with an open 50/100 yd skirmish sight as well as the flip up peep that is on the gun in the pictures. I am asking $700 for gun which will be available at the Fall Nationals. Send me a PM if you are interested. I will be arriving Th. evening and can be reached by cell at the Fort. I shoot with the Eighth Va.
