AMEN! IIRC, those folks are the same ones that turned down a decommissioned US Navy ship because it was "too warlike."

That will probably be heard in the 9th circuit court of appeals and that collection of shysters is as far left as they can get. No help there!

Maybe the San Francisco Board of Supervisors should be renamed "The Board of Sissies."

    Heck, they earned the title..

A lot of things "offend" me, but I am an adult, and I realize that is part of living in a free society.

I've often wondered how the news story would play out if my wife and I were pulled over by some overzealous cop on our way to a skirmish. The NRA thing would just be icing on the cake. I would be a lifetime member of a domestic terror organization carrying multiple large caliber military grade weapons across state lines, with hundreds of rounds of ammunition, and if they did their homework about what was in those cartridges, over 2 lbs of explosives, 20 lbs of hazardous heavy metals, and I'm sure I could think of some other things to add to the list. What has out society come to?

I did get pulled over on the way home from one of our Boy Scout instruction days. It went something like this-

me- Good evening officer, I have a concealed carry permit and I am armed. (hands at 10 and 2 on the wheel)
leo- Yeah, I saw that when I ran your tag, thanks for telling me though. Where's the gun and can I see your license and registration?
me- the gun is right beside the seat next to my wallet. Just wanted you to know so there's no tragic misunderstanding here.
leo- (chuckling) so long as just the wallet is in your hand we're good.
    me- (getting wallet)
leo- (watching me get wallet, sees more guns in back seat) I see you've got more than just a handgun
me- (pulling out license) uh, yup.
leo- is that a Civil War musket?
me- yup (multiple gun bags under the open one)
    leo- cool, you a reenactor?
me- heck no, I'm a member of the NSSA and we do live fire with them. I've been up a Raven Knob teaching marksmanship with the things all day.
leo- that's really cool. I remember when I was in Scouting and we went up to Raven Knob. So n So still up there?
me- I didn't see him, but I was pretty busy.
leo- so what's this marksmanship thing about?
    me- (I explain Scout project)
leo- dang that's cool, I wish you guys were there when I was in Scouts. Have a nice evening and drive safe.

He didn't even look at my registration or run my license. He just looked to see it was current and we just had a great time talking about Raven Knob and muzzleloading.
