    CS marked Artillery short sword

Is there a go to person for information on a Civil War CS marked Artillery Short Sword?

Ran up on one but really not in my collection plans.

So I would like to find information or a person that can provide the knowledge to make sure it is real ( I believe it is) and any other information so I can place a value on it.

It has been in the same family for many years said to be 30 to 40 years.
No way, pictures or paperwork to prove it so only a story.

If you have detailed information, facts on them, please feel free to post up.

    Thanks for your help.

    No pictures at current time.
Hope to find a person to look at it say at Nationals then maybe sell it.

Mr. G - Tim Prince, of Antiques Road Show fame, is scheduled to be set up on Sutler's Row with Cliff Sophia. Tim may be able to verify it for you.

Not only is Tim Prince an expert that can answer your questions, but he is also a very fine man.
