Can the front sight be drifted on a Type 2 Gwyn and Campbell? My wife just bought one Saturday, but it shoots about 4" right at 50 yards. The front sight is visibly offset to the left. It's just that I don't see a dovetail, per se, in the barrel. I can see a flat on the barrel to the right of the sight, and the entire sight is tapered front to rear as well as side to side, a pyramid, if you will. But I'm just not sure the front sight actually slides back and forth in a dovetail and could be drifted to correct the windage problem. It's a really nice carbine with nice patina, and I don't want to mess anything up, like knock the sight off because is was brazed on rather than in a dovetail. Does anyone know if these front sights slide in a dovetail?

Thanks,

Hal
