Bullet hole size is not an issue. If you use a smart phone or tablet with a touch screen, you can zoom in and see any size holes. Even though the system is good to 300 yards, you set the camera up about 10 feet from the target. The picture is sent via a bluetooth wireless connection back to your device. The only limitation is that you must have a clear line of sight from the camera to your tablet/phone.
It's a very slick system. For instance, when practicing offhand, I don't have to move to look through a spotting scope, just press the SHOW SHOT button and view the results. The last shot blinks so you can see where it went.

Now the 100,000.00 question is can it be used at regional or national skirmishes for individual targets..... side note it does well with my Maynard model 1 holes.
