    Question for John Holland

    Dear John

    How far from the rear end of the barrel on a Cook & Brother Rifle is the end of the Enfield type rear sight located?

    The direct answer is for the Cook & Bro. N.O. Rifle, with the English type rear sight, the location is 7.687" from the back edge of the barrel to the back edge of the sight base, with an allowable +/- tolerance of 0.375", or +/- 3/8ths of an inch.
