WTS: Austrian Lorenz Type III Rifle Musket

A very solid example of a coveted Austrian Lorenz rifle musket. This is regarded as a type 3, which is a flip sight with cheekrest in .54 caliber. This particular model is very hard to come by, and much more rarer than the .54 with block sight.

The stock has minimal dry cracking, but nothing structural in nature. The bore rates as good, with only minor pitting from time and use. The ramrod is original, but has seen better days at the end. It would benefit by having it stretched and redyed for threads. The flip sight is missing part of the leaf and two screws , which could be restored quite easily through a number of parts suppliers.

Overall, this is a great example of a Lorenz that has not been reworked over, nor with mismatched parts. I can provide additional pictures upon request.
