    For Sale 2 Gauge Smoothbore

Marked 2 Gauge 1.318 choked to an 8 gauge .815
    Barrel is 48 inches long
Made by George Wallis of Hull.
The Most Celebrated Gunsmith of Eastern Yorkshire England
Made mid 1780s to mid 1790s
Excellent condition. Wood is very solid. Bore is excellent to unfired, wedding ring assembly.
George died around 1806 and his son took over til 1833.
Tight lock. Small repair brass strip near breech plug. I noticed online another gun of his had the same repair. Seems when the son upgraded to percussion, noted on butt plate, his part was a tad too big. Interesting history. Upgrade was done by the son in 1827 in Yorkshire England.
    $5800. Some trades considered.
