WTS; E. Robinson rifle musket and Parker Hale Volunteer rifle - TRADES CONSIDERED

Robinson is a great opportunity to build out a nice rifle musket for competition. Stock is solid and may have a 5th corps badge inlet into the stock, so it may have seen service. Great to put a new target barrel on and make a terrific shooter. Lock works great. $550 SOLD

Parker Hale (new old stock original British made) Volunteer 2 band rifle. Excellent condition. Never shot it myself. These are the ones folks say are the most accurate. Will be posting on gun auction site as well. Reserve the right to end this posting if sold elsewhere. NEW PRICE $1350. SOLD

    Thanks

    New? Not used? Unfired?

Picts for the Robinson. Stock is solid, no cracks that I can see. Good basis for a shooter for next year Lock works fine.

Pictures of Parker Hale Volunteer rifle

Here are the picts for the Parker Hale Volunteer rifle. Excellent, near new condition. British made. Some folks say this one is the most accurate 2 banders, and has multi groove rifling and adjustable sights front and rear. The bore is bright and shiny all the way down. I believe I am the second owner of the rifle. I have never shot it, and probably never will, so I am putting it up for sale. BTW .451 caliber. Would consider partial trade for a professionally accurazed cap and ball revolver.

    English made Parker Hale

I always thought the Parker Hales without the round cartouche on the stock were Italian made.

My understanding was that, that was not true for the Volunteer models. Regular 2 bands had a stock cartouche.

I have a Birmingham made PH 2-band Volunteer. Serial #1159. .451 caliber, Rigby rifling. It does have a Parker Hale cartouche on the right side of the buttstock. Can't be sure all of the Birmingham's have a cartouche, but it stands to reason.
