    Flood warning/current creek conditions

Frederick County is currently under a flood warning.
The creek has just started to leave it's banks about an hour ago.
Since then it has dropped about 6".
Areas 4,5,&6 have water in the sites along the creek but does not appear to be in any buildings or campers at this time.
The creek road is impassable but the entrance road is open.

Hopefully it continues to go down.

    Update with current conditions

    Just came back in.
Looks like the water came back up overnight and crested at about 6'.
It did not get over the main bridge or into the Stat House thankfully.
The water level has dropped to 4.5' over normal.
The creek road is still impassable and the right side of Confederate Rd is also impassable.

The damage I could see so far is a few campers in areas 4 & 6 took on water, a utility trailer has floated a little ways at the 9th Va, and some gravel roads the will need graded.

We've been lucky again so far,
    Tim

I'm beginning to believe we need to recruit a battalion of little Dutch boys to stick fingers in the dike... oh wait, we don't HAVE a dike! Never mind. As others have said, Tim, thanks for keeping us up to date on status at the Fort. How about the range side of the creek? Any damage there?
