    Norwich stock stamp

    ‘64 Norwich. Stamp looks like “0” bottom of stock near trigger tang. Sorry the thumbnails-resolution isn’t as good as the actual pic.
    Seen lots of these stamps with different letters on numerous rifles.

    Are they from from the manufacturer or an armorer? Way too small for a rack #

    That is a stock inspection stamp.
