    Misfire drill

Hi! in the interest of safety, I would like to ask a question of you artillery persons... do you know what to do if your cannon misfires? I mean, do you know your misfire drill? That is , do you know how to properly service the piece in case it does not fire the projectile?

Let's say your gun does not fire when you: pull the lanyard, light the quill, or use the modern green fuse....what is the correct misfire command as written in Section 10 of the NSSA regulations? Can you quote it without looking it up? More importantly, can you quote it by looking it up?

Bonus point question! What is the original command as written in the original Civil War manuals?
