The base Pedersoli Remington is $950. There are several new on GunBroker. The higher-grade gun is about $1200.

Also, there's some good info about the higher end Remington replicas used in European competitive shooting on this website (English translation from Spanish or Italian)...

The Pietta Shooters Revolver is an EXACT CLONE of the original Remmie '1858-so much so that parts will interchange. Like the original, the Pietta Shooters Revolver has Gain Twist rifling, which probably accounts for much of its phenomenal accuracy.
why not just take a standard 1858 and have a custom built? Might be cheaper than the option you are looking at...........just saying.

about 3 months ago bought a new unfired pedersoli match 1858 in the box with papers for $600. Got it off a website that has only private firearm sales. Each seller is evaluated by buyer and results are posted so history of seller is seen as for honesty and such. The website is https://vaguntrader.com
Sorry do not mean to steal the subject but have seen a lot of good deals on there especially black powder firearms
