Thank you for the link. The pic's are great, as is the detail.
I have known some "fakers" over the years, and the lengths they will go to to make money without having to punch a time clock is amazing. It seems to be a psychological thing with them. One fellow I knew some 45 years ago justified his activities in his mind by saying he was only making people happy to be able to acquire something they liked.
I have collected alpha/numeric stamps for a long time and the stamps used on the measure seem to be good for the period. Like you noted, even the anchor looks appropriate.
I have no opinion on the measure, other than it sure looks good to me!
