Great condition percussion Sile Marcheno Sharps 1863 carbine in .54 caliber. Imported by Sile New York in 1977. Breech has been modified by Larry Flees using an bronze AMPCO conversion last year. Very nicely done with zero gas leaks and very consistent ignition/velocity. Bore is excellent and muzzle has new crown. Overall condition of the Metal is about 85%. Wood is excellent with some light saddle marks on the left side. Mechanically perfect with nice trigger pull due to match mainspring. Bore slugs at .520/.540 and the chamber takes 1.125" Hahn tubes.
