    Frequent Condition Updates

According to the weather apps it is expected to rain at Ft. Shenandoah most of the day and night on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The creek already left it's banks more than 24 hours ago but then receded. Of course it's impossible to know how much additional rain will fall. Can someone please post an update when possible to let travelers know the conditions as some of us may want to turn around before getting there only to learn events are cancelled. Whatever updates can be provided would be sincerely appreciated!

Still a steady rain. Doubt anyone is going to get a camper in and out of sites near the crick as mud is axle deep. Most folks moving to top of hill on empty and half full sites. Guys still shooting individuals in the rain

The local forecast is for about another 1 1/4" of rain ending about 10 AM on Sat. If it rains like the past 2 days the creek won't rise anymore. It's about 2 ft under the bridge. Areas 4 and 5 are a soggy mess. The range is very soggy with areas of standing water. People shot all day today and they will be there in the morning shooting again. If the rains tops Sat AM as forecast then Sunday will be OK. Rubber boots are in order.

PJ since many folks have moved to the top of the hill where our campsite is would I still have access to my camper or has our site been filled up with other campers? I don't want to get there this morning and not be able to have a place to park at our site, etc. Thanks dear brother on any info you can provide!

I hear the participants in the morter match had a tough time finding their balls after the match was over. Seems they simply disappeared into the mud!

    Anybody got a metal detector???
