i'm interested in buying a progressive press to help speed up reloading for my henry [.44-40].
i don't use any filler, as that would make a difference.
does anyone else use such?
any thoughts on the best system?
thanks in advance

ken i use a dillon 550. doesnt get any better than that. i do use filler so i set up a little dandy to drop the filler. works slick. hp
I use an RCBS Piggyback atop my rock chucker which turns it into a 5-station progressive. I use a filler, so at station 4 I have a power-thru expanding die with a funnel in it for adding the filler at each cycle. Works fine!

dillon xl650. I wouldnt trade mine for anything. Its a 5 station press so if you wanted to you could have 2 powder stations 1 for powder and 1 for filler just in-case you may want to in the future . With that set up you will be pushing almost 1000 rounds an hour but its an awful lot of money to spend if your going to use it for just one caliber.
I use a Lee turrent press to reload my Henry rounds, which saves me set up time. Here are some YouTube videos of a Lee Progressive set up:

Dillon 550B for me. I do not use filler and have never had any problems.
I love it.
