I purchased one of these books from Eggman 2 years ago, and I will testify that it is excellently written, and captivating to read. I endorse this book as well worth the reasonable price, and author inscribed and autographed too, per request!

I have stalled out in my reading time but I do very much like the writing style.

    Flame of Battle

I have enjoyed reading US history books (esp the Civil War) for 40+ years.
This is one of the BEST written one's out there.

The research is top notch, the notes are superb and as another fellow on here put well written in a great style.

If you have, read or collect Civil War books, this really does belong in your library.

Now the author needs to find a Regiment in the eastern campaigns to do the same for.... hint hint...

It really is a very well-written and researched book. I bought a copy as well 2 years ago.
