Bill Adams has done some groups with the Hoyt-Kerr barrel, and it shot well enough for him. Dave Goodrich, one of the competitors at the 2015 Oak Ridge match did pretty well for his first time out with one of Hoyt's Kerr barrels matched to a P53 Parker-Hale. He shot a 69 at 200 yards, 79 at 300, 53 at 600, and a 6 at 1,000. At the 2016 match Dave again competed with the Kerr and scored a 93-2x at 200, 73 at 300, 42 at 600, and 13 at 1,000. In 2017 Dave switched over to a Pedersoli Whitworth and scored a 98-2x at 200, 80 at 300, 52 at 600, and 21 at 1,000 yards. The winner that year at 1,000 won with a 71 shooting a Pedesoli Gibbs match rifle.
