It seems to depend on the head-spacing on each individual Maynard.

Anywhere from 1 to about 6 with the average being about 3. More than that and you are lucky.

I bought 200 plastic cases and have used them for two complete seasons, and they are just now starting to split, both vertically, and horizontally around where the bullet is seated. Tough to guess how many uses of each one. I have full capacity brass cases I used for fifteen years, and they only diminished through loss. Still have them, I just found the plastic easier to use.

I bought some to try. They worked fine. I purposely loaded and fired the same case 15 consecutive times. no problems.

I tired them.....3-4 shots average then the rim came off leaving a straight plastic tube. Brass is the only way to go. As the plastic wears yer accuracy will change. Why invest the cost in firearms, uniforms, lead, powder, caps, travel, food, and everything else just to have one weak link in the chain. Go brass......buy 150 cases and they will last you the rest of your skirmish days.
