WTS muskets and check out at Baltimore Gun Show.

I am offering for sale the following firearms.

If interested, PM, and we can meet at the Baltimore Gun for a hands-on examination.

30 inch Macon, working parts gun with original and repro parts, SAC card, $500.

34 inch Macon, original and repro parts, Hoyt Reline, SAC card, $800.

1855, Two band Artillery Rifle, original and repro parts, trigger done, Hoyt Reline, never fired, SAC card. $950.

1863 type II, dated 1864, three band musket, original and repro parts, stretched stock, Numrich Barrel, SAC card. $800.

1842 Belgian Rifled Musket, original, repro cone, with sling, 69 cal plus, $650.

As of now I am planning on attending the Baltimore Gun Show on Saturday, March 17th. If you are interested and would like to "buy and try", give me a PM and we can exchange phone numbers and location details. "Buy and Try" goes something like this. You buy it and try it from now until the Spring Nationals. If you like it, you keep it. If you do not like it, you can return it at the Spring Nationals. If you return it, please let me know so that I can have the cash on hand.

    Shipping add $25 per gun.

    Time to move on.

    2nd Maryland response.

    Al,

I have owned the musket for maybe ten years. I picked it up at an auction here in Lancaster County. I shoot 69 cal patched roundball with 60 grains of 2f. It was my deer rifle during the percussion black powder deer season here in Pa. At 25 yards it shoots two inches left and six inches high. I never bothered to change the sites. I just guessed on a deer.

In Harry's description of his Belgian musket he says it is Rifled. Maybe it is the one you are looking for. If you see it first hand maybe you will recognize it!
