one item was a Challenger Minie ball bullet mould , Size on side of block says "580-515".

Not really.

These were done for targets like the stake and 2x4.
they started as a normal bullet mould and the front of the mould would be drilled out to the given dia needed.

I have a few of them.
The front os flat and square.
they put a great hole in a deer and also will blow the back out.

one of my 58's is in the range of 650 700 grn bullet.
May still have an 825 ish 69 cal.

Weight tend to be higher than most normal bullets.
