After reading the FB cook off thread....

I got to wondering since my musket is one of the ones that supposedly had the breech threads incorrect. So I looking into confirming one way or another if my musket chamber was incorrect. A buddy suggested a USB borescope. I checked it out on Amazon and yup, for about $16 you can get a bore/endoscope that will hook to your android phone via usb. Here's what I saw-

For a couple bucks and an android phone, this ain't half bad.....

I bought one of these too. The first one lasted about 15 minutes. They sent me a replacement and so far so good. It is fun to look down the barrels of your revolvers and such to see if you have misalignments.

One could also use this to check if a weapon that has suddenly lost it's accuracy has a skirt stuck down in them thar lands!

Would be awesome too when shopping for a new gun. Much more telling than a bore light. Personally I'd also love to feed it down my potsdam and 16. We never were able to get the breech plugs out of those guns, and while bore light inspection said that all was well (backed up by a lot of shooting) it would be nice to really see the breech face and bolster area.
