    Walker Replicas

Who makes replicas of the Walker? Colt Blackpowder did but those are all long gone. Uberti does. Does anyone else?

There are cartridge cylinders for the Walker? Anyone have experience with one of them?

  2. I had an Uberti replica, very nice shooting gun, very well put together compared to the heap of random parts that i had in one of the Dragoons that I purchased. The Walker however was a pleasure to shoot and it sure got attention on the range when it was brought out.

Teammate has a walker and a conversion cylinder. Both new production.Don't know by who though.Cylinder is the two piece take apart type.So they are out there
If shooting, fixing, making and thunking were easy.Everyone would be doing it.

    Ken,

The most common Walker on the market is made by Armi San Marco, marked "ASM". I see them about 4 to 1 at the various gun shows I attend. But, you can't beat Uberti for quality. In fact, the interchangeable .45 LC cylinders I have seen state they are for the Uberti made versions, only.

    Walker and conversion cylinder

The walker I have was made by Armi San Marco and is not quite up to Uberti quality, but it looks good and shoots just fine. I have a conversion cylinder that is for the Uberti, but it fits my ASM just fine and shoots like a dream. I made my own Slim Jim style holster and I enjoy shooting it a lot with both the percussion and conversion cylinder.
