There used to be a thread here or a link to information on modification of the sear/tumbler on an Enfield to make it adjustable. Can't seem to find it. Can anyone help?
Thanks, Bob

You can thin the sear down to make a lighter trigger pull, but that is not the best way however. The best way is to modify the tumbler, either with a brass shim soft soldiered where the sear rests above the full cock notch or my favorite is to drill and tap the tumbler in the same area and use an allen screw, which is adjustable for trigger pull. I recall that the NW territory has an excellent illustration on this subject.
Hope this helps;

Thank you very much. Thats what I was looking for. BTW I should have said tumbler modification. I must have been half asleep when I posted this.
