If you can stand the recoil the large bore rifles are very accurate. There is a guy who brings out a 4 bore and shoots it in Elkins and Clarksburg, Wv. at the local round ball shoots. 1.15 ball it almost looks like he could shoot a golf ball in it. The biggest problem is scoring the target. I would like to know how fast they are traveling. I have a 6 bore with .926 ball with 200 gr. 2f. Somebody out here may have an educated guess on fps.
