    Yeck smith carbine.

I picked up a number of black powder weapon the other day one being a smith carbine. there are no visible markings other than a three digit serial number on the barrel and also frame at the pivot pin area. Under the front hand guard on the right side of the back barrel octagon is marked YECK MFG. Can someone please enlighten me as to this version of the Smith

    Thanks

Des - Your Smith is the first reproduction of a Smith Carbine, and made by Mike Yeck of Michigan. Someone else will remember better than I can as to when Mike first introduced them and how long they were in production.
